🏡 Hunters Hill From the very first consultation to final handover — this beautiful waterfront apartment renovation was over 12 months in the making, and we’re proud to have been part of the journey from day one. Being involved in the early design stages allowed us to collaborate closely with the acoustic engineers, ensuring the correct underlay specification was selected before a single board was laid. In high-end apartment living, acoustic compliance isn’t optional — it’s critical — and getting it right early makes all the difference. Before installation, the project required extensive concrete levelling works to achieve the flatness tolerance required for a premium engineered timber floor. Proper preparation is everything. The finish is only as good as the foundation beneath it. The client selected a stunning prefinished engineered floor from @royaloakfloors — delivering warmth, elegance and long-term stability. Architect: @markszczerbicki Builder: @ferrocon_aust A huge thank you to our wonderful clients for trusting Know-How Flooring with such an important element of your home. Your floor is the foundation of your living experience — and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. If you’re planning a high-end renovation and want to involve your flooring specialist from the very beginning, we’d love to collaborate. #knowhowflooring #knowhowflooringau #sydneyarchitecture #sydneyinteriors #sydneyconstruction

Hunters Hill transformation🏡 Over 400m² of 7-year-old engineered timber flooring was looking tired before the new owner moved in — so we stepped in to deep clean and recoat the entire surface rather than sand it back. The result? A rejuvenated floor with its original character fully preserved. Recoating was a smart decision here. It refreshed the finish, brought the timber back to life and, most importantly, should eliminate the need for sanding for another 10+ years. That means the original distressed look of the boards stays exactly as intended — no loss of texture, no over-processing, just protection and renewal. Maintenance done at the right time makes all the difference. If your timber floors are starting to look worn but you’re not ready for a full sand, reach out to discuss your options. We’re always happy to assess and guide you on the best long-term solution. #KnowHowFlooring #HuntersHill #TimberFlooring #EngineeredOak #FloorRestoration SydneyHomes PremiumInteriors

Kingsford project🏠 Our team at Know-How Flooring recently took on the challenge of restoring a century-old subfloor—and the results speak for themselves. 💪 We carried out extensive structural repairs, including the replacement of multiple joists and original flooring, which formed the foundation for a brand new acoustic underlay and stunning raw, prime grade Sydney Blue Gum Herringbone flooring. 🌿 After allowing the floor to settle properly, we completed the process with a sand & polish, finishing it off with an extra matt water-based coating for a timeless, understated elegance.👨🏻‍🎨 A huge thank you to our wonderful client for trusting us with this project, and a massive shout-out to the incredible KHF team who brought this refurbishment to life. 🙌 #sydneyconstruction #sydneybuilder #sydneyarchitecture #architecture #interiordesign #sydneyinteriordesign #interiors #BeforeAndAfter #FloorRenovation #SydneyBlueGum #HerringboneFlooring #HeritageRestoration #SubfloorRepair #TimberFlooring #ExtraMattFinish #SandAndPolish #KnowHowFlooring #KowHowFlooringAu
