The Timber Floor refinishing process
Other important information
Engineered timber floors have a limited wear layer.
Your timber floors can only be refinished a certain amount of times before they are too thin to sand anymore. This is usually somewhere between 3 to 6 sandings.
When the floor sanding and refinishing limit is reached, you'll need to have a brand new hardwood floor installed.
When we come over to your house for your consultation, we will happily to check to see if your floor has enough life left in it to be sanded and refinished.
The last thing you want is for a different Sydney timber flooring company to grind off more surface from the floor than they need to, shortening the life of your floors by decades.
Our timber flooring refinishing process has been perfected over many years. We are careful to remove as little of the surface layer as necessary, while still providing a peerless finished result.
With Know-How, you’ll get the beautiful finished results you expect, as well as maintaining as much of your timber’s thickness as possible. So you’ll have plenty of surface left to refinish your floors again if needed in the future.
