Roseville Engineered Oak Timber Floor

This beautiful Roseville house had an existing floor in their house that they wanted the flooring in their new extension to match. The existing timber floor was a pre-finished Engineered Oak product that we were familiar with.

We were asked by our friends at HP Constructions to get involved in the project.

It was important that the wooden floors in the new part of the house were at the same level as the existing house, so we took great care level packing the new extension with structural plywood, and installing the new timber floor.

There were some important details to take care of as well. We manufactured several custom treads and risers to complete the timber placement part of the project. As well, if you look closely at the pictures, you can see that we installed a custom size border around the perimeter with Engineered Oak herringbone boards.

Next we sanded and levelled the timber floors in both the extension and the original house. Making sure that they were exactly level and in precisely the same condition prior to finishing.

Finally, we carefully applied the finishing treatment across the entire house. It looks great. And we’re incredibly proud of the result.
