Drummoyne Engineered Oak Herringbone Parquetry

This is a bright, well-lit and warm living space in Drummoyne. The client wanted to keep the space looking uncluttered, but not sterile. Which is why they wanted to have timber flooring instead of a different solution such as polished concrete.

We recommended a premium Engineered Oak timber product. Not only does it look fresh and welcoming, it is also incredibly resilient to the changes in temperature and moisture, which you can see from the photos is be unavoidable.

The room would sometimes have direct sunlight on parts of the timber floor, and in other times it would be in shadow. Engineered flooring is by far the best choice.

Furthermore, we suggested laying the timber floor in a herringbone pattern to bring some gentle texture to the room.
