Kauri Pine was originally sourced from New Zealand and Fiji when introduced into the Australian flooring market going 100+ years ago. The primary demand for Kauri Pine these days is to match existing Kauri pine floors which were very popular in Sydney from the 1930’s onward.
Description
t’s a clean, buttery yellow softwood. Kauri Pine come from enormous trees originally harvested from QLD & New Zealand, but because of poor forestry management during the last century Kauri Pine is now at times difficult to source.
